can you bake cakes in a microwave combi oven?

Need to get a new microwave and was thinking of getting one of those combination ovens to supplement my 2-oven aga which is useless for cake baking and switched off for 3 months in summer. any advice? really need better cake making facility.

Hi Sophy,
We bought one of those combi things years ago when we were renovating a house and had no kitchen. I still use the oven now for cakes, pizza, anything that doesn't require two shelves! We now have a gas oven and it's pants! I do prefer the gas grill tho....
I think this would be a great idea for aga users as it heats up really quickly too and has a timer so you don't forget waht you're cooking. My mum has often cooked meat overnight in her rayburn by mistake!!!
