Yes.

I use the one that appears on the packet of mince from Tescos!!

Yes it is.

Chop an onion, and stick of celery and a carrot and fry/soften gently in a pan. Add 750g lamb mince and brown for 5 mins.

Add 2 tbsp of flour and cook for a few more minutes.

Add half a pint of stock/water if you have no stock and a dash of worcester sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer gently for 45 mins - stirring occasionally.

Peel and cut 750g of potatoes - boil them until tender.

Mash them with some butter and a little milk.

When the mince is cooked, place in a dish, and top with the mash. Stick in the oven - gas mark 6 for 20-30 mins or until brown on top.

I use the colmans packet mix. It is a lovely rich sauce tho.

Yup , I normally fry off the mince with chopped onions, cook some chopped carrot. Add the two mixtures together with the liquid from the carrots in bottom of a pie dish, with a squirt of tomato puree, worcester sauce, ,mixed herbs, sprinkle of gravy granules or stock cube and mix . Add boiling water to cover the meat layer, mix again, top with mashed potato. In medium heat oven for about 25 minutes until it is bubbling at the edges and starting to brown. You can then add grated cheese to the top and put back in until it has melted if you like.
