I've forgotten the spinach! Leek, broccoli or nothing to replace?

It's a gnocchi recipe with bacon, sundries tomatoes and mascarpone. And usually spinach but I forgot to buy any. What do you think would be the best sub?

Either would work, but I'd go leek.

LittleBairn · 04/02/2015 18:35

I vote Broccoli.

tshirtsuntan · 04/02/2015 18:36

Both! I'm all for the more the merrier when it comes to veg Smile

TheSkiingGardener · 04/02/2015 18:37

Well that's conclusive! A perfectly split vote!

Actually, I'm changing my vote to both.

That was my first thought but I was afraid to sound greedy Grin

titchy · 04/02/2015 18:39

I vote leek Grin

TheSkiingGardener · 04/02/2015 19:22

Ok, leek with a little bit of broccoli then. I just don't want the bitterness of the broccoli to overwhelm it but, yes, the more veg the better!

bathtimefunkster veg greed doesn't count as greedy....it's health! Grin
