Milk in ice cube bags

So, work are sending me to London for three days every week for the next six months, and there's a studio flat they're putting me up in. If I buy a pint of milk every week it goes off, cos I only use it for a cup of tea in the morning and maybe a bowl of cereal one day every two weeks. So can I pour milk into those ice cube bags, and then just tear off a cube or two for a cuppa? How long would the milk last?

I'm surprised the milk goes off inside a week because the shelf life is pretty good these days. Is there something wrong with the fridge? How about buying a pint at the start of the week and another a few days later? Or get long life

Yes, but a pint of milk would probably last me a month, if it would stay fresh, hence the ice cube bag idea. Guess I'll just have to try it.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I might try it at home

Well yes, it'll work and the milk would keep for ages. You'd need to like lukewarm tea though Hmm
