WWhole rainbow trout - what do i do ?

usually stuff it with lemon and parsey and bake it but dh bored with that what other ideas ?

Hmmmmm.....tell him to cook it? Or do a puppet show for the kids with it, wear it as a comedy slipper? Mess around with it in the kitchen while you dial out for a pizza?

stuff with almonds and garlic and lemon breadcrumbs. Thyme too if you have it. Yum.

Rinse it and pat dry. Stuff with some fennel (I use the stalky frondy bits that otherwise would get thrown away - you're not going to eat it, it's just for flavour). Lay in greased baking dish and dot top of fish with butter and a good grinding of black pepper. Bake in oven at 180C until fished cooked through - about 20 mins probably, but depends on size of fish. Nice with a tomato salad and crusty bread.
