I have some leftover meatballs in not enough bolognesey-type sauce.
We had them yesterday with pasta.
I'm trying to think of what to add to the sauce to make it sort of North African/spicy to go with rice or couscous.
Any ideas?
I thought some chopped chilli to add heat maybe, and I do ave passata & tinned toms. But what else?

I would fry an onion and garlic with Moroccan spices like cumin, cinnamon, coriander, add the toms and chilli and leftover meatballs and maybe bulk up with a tin of chickpeas.
