Need to make something that I can take to eat at college. So out of tupperware and cold. Wondering if there is some fun thing I can do with flaked cod and cannellini beans, maybe? Surely there is a fine MNer out there who can provide me with inspiration?!

Is the cod already flaked - if so mix with beans and egg/ flour then make into balls and deep fry. When done marinade in oil, lemon, garlic and chilli. Yum

If cod whole I would fry it in strips after coating lightly in batter then marinate with beans

Seviche/ceviche? Cured in lemon or lime juice, and eaten with salad.

Nervous about ceviche as sell by date is today. National, if I make the balls presumably I need to mash up beans before moulding into balls? And are they tasty when cold? Can picture them crispy and piping hot....

Fish cakes. Fish pie. Fish frittata.

Mashed best. Yup really tasty, marinade in as much lemony garlic gunk as possible. The crispier the balls the better it all tastes. It is hard to imagine but great to eat!
