Contact the Elderly Tea Party

I am hosting a tea party for elderly people this coming weekend. I usually bake everything and am wanting some new idea's. One of the ladies does not like cake, though will eat an old fashioned fruit cake. This is what I made last time (in the summer):

Plain scones
Victoria Sponge
Fruit cake cupcakes
Raspberry and white chocolate cake
Lemon cupcakes
Various sandwiches

Even though there are only a few of them I do like to do a selection of cakes for variety. Any more ideas?

I was thinking about mini quiches but have never done one before.

I also occasionally hold contact the elderly tea parties and my last one in November I had:

Cheese scones
Egg sandwiches
Ham sandwich
Salmon sandwich (plain tinned with seasoning)
Victoria sponge
Ginger Parkin with a toffee topping
Lemon & blueberry drizzle cake
Cherry Madeira iced
The ones they couldn't get enough of were the salmon sandwiches as I think this was reminiscent of days gone by and also the ginger cake.
Hope that helps Smile
