Im not sure if I mentioned this on another thread but a few weeks ago I badly sliced accross my thumb opening the lid of a heinz simply pot. I dont normally complain , but I though that it was quite dangerous that the edges were so burred and sharp. So I phoned them and said they should really look into this, I ahd to sit feeding dd with kitchen roll wrapped round my thumb , it was not a pretty site!! any way they sent me a jiffy bag to out the pot into last week. Today I recieved a letter of apology hoping that my "discomfort was short lived" and also that this is the 1st time this problem has occured in production. Not sure if they are just covering themselves . may be they know I come on here !!! Anywhooo please be aware of the lids and try not to put your thumb in harms way. Now what shall I do with my heinz voucher?? Anyone know of anyone who may need it more than me??

That's really nice Melsy, she might not want to ask but what about Nickola (used to be Shireensmum) from what I read on her thread the other day she seems to be having a tough time just now, financially and otherwise, MN may be able to put you in touch with her.

melsy · 21/04/2004 18:49

Thanks demented, note sure if she will accept it if I ask her , but gonna be difficult to get her address withought asking!!

You could send it to a local homeless shelter if you have one ... i'm sure they'd be grateful for it

melsy · 21/04/2004 19:29

I dont think there is one round here. There used to be an orphanage near me, Not sure. Might have to phone my local council.
