We are following a recipe for Beef Goulash at the moment and the recipe says to cook in microwave?
Can someone please reassure me that this is going to be okay?

TIA

yes. i have. it is fine to do so. we've not had a cooker since moving in july and have been using a microwave or bbq. i've done allsorts in the microwave, sausage casserole was tonight, just put some cling film over it so it doesn't spray everywhere.

ok thanks - I'm not very adventurous when it comes to microwave cooking I have to say. Only use it for reheating usually.

how was it?
Do you have to use those "browing shields" and all that kind of malarkey?
