Cake Sale Recipe Suggestions please!

School cake sale coming up next week and I need to make some bits in advance.

Do you have any suggestions for non-fiddly recipes that I can make ahead and freeze ideally? It can be cookies, muffins, cakes etc

I have a ton of baking books - Delia Cakes, Mary Berry Fast Cakes, Mary Berry Simple Cakes, Rachel Allen Cake, Nigella Goddess, but if you can point me to any tried and tested favourites, that would be great.

Children go for cookies IME because they are reliably nice and they look big. Smarties or double choc - eg this Hummingbird recipe.
