garlicky scallops , what to have with them???

Need to make it more substantial dinner tonight, dont fancy mash. Any ideas for dh to cook up ? He thought pasta may be ? Ideas for nice savoury garlic suace so far: wine, garlic , a little stock , fine chopped onions. Any ideas great , as getting fed up with how we do things!!!

tiny new potatos boiled , with a little mint on top

crusty french bread and butter

linguine with a buttery, creamy sauce

singel cream , diluted with some milk if necc or creme fraiche, some grated parmesan, gently heated, with a drop of dry white wine.....stir while it heats.pour over pasta - best with fresh egg pasta..only need a bit of the sauce as very rich...
