Warm potato salad question - quick!

I am making a warm potato salad type thing for tea. Plan is, tiny salad potatoes, sliced flat bean type thing, dressing made from olive oil, mustard and vinegar (I think? do I want mayo in here?). Question: do I add tomatoes? I have baby ones. I assume there's no way to work leeks into this?

I would definitely put the tomatoes in - I do. A lemon dressing (lemon juice instead of vinegar) works really well with this. The leeks would probably be OK if you stir fry them in a little olive oil first, and use balsamic vinegar in the dressing, but don't hold me to that as I haven't been able to eat leeks since I got pregnant, and still can't two months after giving birth. Have fun experimenting!

tomatoes, yes.

leeks, no.

I would stick to vinaigrette, no mayo.

I would say no to tomatoes and definitely not leeks! But baby toms could work I suppose

mayonnaise is fine or olive oil, not both though

Ah, the answers weren't quick enough, but will give me ideas for next time. I did a vinaigrette with seedy mustard, and added radishes, as the grocery order turned up in time.

It came out well.

Thanks!
