I cooked some ham Christmas eve and there is a fair bit left. Can I slice and freeze it Then use it defrosted in sandwiches later?

Bumping for you as I'd like to know the answer to this too.

We have a huge ham to cook when DPIL come up so no doubt we'll be in the same situation shortly!

Yes it's fine to freeze.

Yes.

I freeze in say 6/8 slices so enough slices for a few sandwiches at a time

I have used mine up in a turkey and ham pie and a couple of quiche Lorraines, all of which I have frozen. My Mum used to make ham sandwiches and freeze them. We would take them out of the freezer and pop in our lunch boxes and be defrosted by lunchtime (weird, I know)!
