I mad my Christmas cake weeks ago, it looked great. I put the marzipan and icing on a few days ago. Cut it today and it's still gooey in the middle! Can it be redeemed at all or have I wasted all that dried fruit? (BTW I've been making my own cake for years and this is the first disaster).
