Stove top rice pudding?

I have some uncooked risotto rice, some milk and some double cream, if I heat them all in a pan so that the rice cooks in the milk will that make a good rice pudding?

Yes. But you will need to add sugar or honey or something. If you add some cardomum and rosewater it will be just like a pudding my mum used to make. Cinnamon might be more traditional though.
