I'd like to make a gingerbread house with ds, but don't like gingerbread! Can anyone suggest an alternative recipe please?

I made this recipe with golden syrup, it was very tasty, my kids loved it too!

I'm not great at baking but with gingerbread houses it seems the advantage is a strong biscuit that is also flexible and can be thin.

So eg shortbread or digestive stuff wouldn't work, and eg brandy snaps while pliable aren't strong...

Logically ginger is just a spice flavouring, so if you left it out you could probably still make plain (but still tasty) biscuits that met the criteria that you could decorate with whatever flavourings you fancied
