Idiot proof fudge recipe

My granny had the most fabulous fudge recipe ( more like Scottish tablet) which I've tried countless times and cannot get it right with the temperature / timings

Does anyone have any easy fudge recipes that look impressive ? I really want to make some for some christmas gifts and would love to know an easy one that has been tried and tested

It's not like tablet at all- soft and smooth. But I am scottish and anyone with the scottish sweet tooth that responds to tablet will also love this.

it can be really easy flavoured, especially with booze. I've mad eit with dark chocolate and milk chocolate too. White chocolate and baileys went down well, as did dark chocolate and bourbon.
