I am reading gina ford and she talks about giving baby rice and working up to giving a "scoop". How much is a scoop? Does anyone know?

I presume she means a formula scoop, I breastfed so have no idea how big that is. I used a coffee measure that came with the Bodum or a clean mouthwash cup.

Well one scoop = 4.5g of formula (at least with Farley's). I guess a dessertspoonful would be close enough?

Seems like everyone makes up there own amount. I was just interested to see what a "scoop" actually was. I suppose it's regulated by the amount baby will eat.
