toast with marmite and baked beans

baked beans on toast? you could add just a little bit of grated cheese.

Enid · 10/10/2006 12:22

the marmite gives you that savoury hit

Peanut butter and hot lime pickle on toast.

Houmous on toast with avacado? That lovely Tartex (?) mushroom pate from health food shops, yummy. Ummm, smoked mackerel pate, homemade is easy peasy just mash it with natural yoghurt and black pepper.

Greensleeves · 10/10/2006 12:30

mmm, lime pickle

NotQuiteCockney · 10/10/2006 12:39

Oh, I almost bought chilli lime pickle the other day, but it was chutney, and I think I hate chutney ...

Greensleeves · 11/10/2006 13:36

It's not sweet and sticky like mango chutney, and it hasn't got those barfworthy crunchy chunks you get in Branstons.....it's delicious, try it!!!
