BAKED BEANS FOR 11 MONTH OLD?

should he be eating this at this age?
childminder gave him some for lunch yesterday
too much sugar and salt?
what do you think?

Umm, I think it's okay. Probably gave mine beans at around one year. Some brands have lots less salt than others, I've found with spaghetti hoops Heinz lowest, Tesco twice as much!! Could check which brand she uses. As long as he is eating plenty of fruit and plain fiberey (?) things too, beans sound just fine!

My 12 month old loves them. He doesn't have them often but loves to eat them one by one with his fingers! They're a great finger food in our house. I think there are far worse things a baby can eat & as long as they aren't eaten every day, I'm sure they're fine!
