Could I freeze a Yule log?

I've got annual leave now so time to bake. Won't have time Xmas week. What do you think?

Watching with interest. I'm going to make the Mary Berry one and would like to know if it can be frozen too. If so, is it best done with or without the cream filling and ganache topping?

Yes you can freeze, put it in the freezer for a couple of hours on a tray to let the icing harden a bit, then you can wrap it in a freezer bag. To defrost put it in the fridge overnight then bring to room temperature for a couple of hours before you want to eat.
