I think we've outgrown Annabell Karmel now but Tana Ramsey was full of recipes my kids will not eat and I don't have money to waste serving up foods I know they will not touch.
Has anyone got a good basic recipe book, did think about the new Jamie one is that any good ?
TIA

Dinner Lady.

Have just got it and it looks fab.

Others on here rave about it

The Jamie one i found unhelpful.
Ive started to trawl the library for cook books because i find that if i buy them i only use one or two recipes so its not worth the money.
Ive never come across any one particular cookery book although i am using the weight watchers books for meal ideas at the moment and find them brill, ive made loads of stuff out of them so far.

OOOh yes, ive heard good stuff about the dinner lady one.
Annabel Carmel was my bible for the fist 2 years of ds's life.

The Dinner Lady .. definitely

you don't need a kid specific book tbh

Can anyone answer my thread on behaviour about DD and her unadventurous ways too.
Thanks, will go and look at Dinner lady tomorrow.

What about magazines like Good Food etc? I have three books full of recipes I have collected as well as tips, all easy to make family food. With dts I have one who eats like a horse and another who would prefer only to eat pasta with Jamie's very veggie sauce. Anything else is adventurous to him.

I did find Jamie's first few books "Naked Chef" etc, quite good but I borrowed them from the library and just wrote any recipes I liked in my books. I have started buying books (see my thread on Tana Ramsay!)though and can vouch for the Dinner Lady and Second Helpings.
