want to make a Christmas cake

Can anyone recommend a chuck it all in easy to make Christmas cake recipe for a nonbaker?

If you want to avoid buying masses of fruit etc, Waitrose have a cake in a box kit which has everything you need, no waste, I did one last year and it was very good.

Nigella's chocolate fruit cake is very easy and delicious.
