Hi all

You would think this was an easy thing to make! I have used a recipe and directions off Youtube and it was all just sticky and not firm.

Has anyone used a specific recipe before that they could point me too please? It's a crucial part of my daughters party food!

Thanks

If you use melted chocolate instead of butter/syrup/cocoa to mix in with the crispies then it will set more solidly. Or maybe a mix of both if you still want a bit of chew.

I cheated and bought the Tesco ones in bags because they're square!

But surely you just make your normal recipe, cool them in a square tin, then cut them with a very sharp knife?

Just use chocolate. Mix rice crispies with milk chocolate and spread into the tin. Then mix white chocolate with the rice crispies with a bit of green food colouring gel and spread on top. cut into squares when set and slightly chilled with a sharp knife. Smile

Oh and make sure the Brown layer is slightly deeper than the green layer. Smile
