Marks and Spencer Chunky Chicken

I bought a tin of chunky chicken today in M&S to have on a sandwich. I remember having it on a sandwich years ago but I've not for a while. On the tin it just gives instructions for heating it but doesn't say you can have it straight from the tin. Is it ok to have on a sandwich unheated?

It is, but it's a bit claggy.

M & S used to do cooked chicken roll (to slice) in a tin- are you thinking of that rather than chicken in white sauce?
