Cooking Pasta for Packed Lunches

Both of my kids have recently decided that they want to take pasta for their lunch in school. I have been cooking it in the morning and they take it in a Thermos food flask.

I could really do without cooking pasta in the morning as I prefer to make packed lunches the night before.

Is there a safe way of cooking pasta the night before and then reheating it in the morning?

cold pasta salad? Mine had that today with chicken, peppers, cherry tomatoes, grated carrot and cucumber.

Mixed with pesto and creme fraiche, it is very nice!

I always cook pasta the day or night before. My DDs have access to a microwave in school but I'm sure you could reheat it in the morning.

I always do it the night before then microwave before putting into preheated thermos
