pizza stone recommendations?

it's meant to be a present, happy to spend a decent amount...

I've never had one, but I've had my eye on the Jamie Oliver one its the only one I've seen that is not stick. Many have said on their reviews that others have been difficult to clean so I assume base is sticking to others.

Don't bother. We had a Pampered Chef one and it produced undercooked, soggy pizzas. We just use a baking sheet and get perfect results every time.
