can i leave the chicken in the oven cooking while i go out?

might sound stupid but it'll take 2hrs at normal temp, i'll be gone for nearly 3 so could i lower temp and leave it
or will the house go on fire and all that'll be let is the chicken!!

do you not have a timer on your oven?

i do all the time.. turn it down and it will be fine.... x

no cd its a piece of crap and i cant wait for my new one next year in new house.
