What can I do with stale cake?

I have lots of cake off-cuts. Too much, believe it or not, for even the dc to eat.

Any suggestions? Are there any faaaabulous recipes that call for cake crumbs? Apart from trifle - after today's party I don't think we'll eat for a week, and there's half a ganache-covered cake still to finish!

Cake pops? Add some buttercream to mashed up cake, roll into a ball, dunk in chocolate and sprinkles and scoff Grin

Crumble up some cake, spread on a baking tray and bake on a low heat so they become dry and crumbly - amazing sprinkled over ice cream.

Can also make a bread and butter pudding but with cake instead, can freeze it if you can't face any more cake for a while Shock

Crumble it up and mix it into jelly while it's still at the liquid stage before setting. Sounds odd but it's lush Smile
