Anyone ever tried a Lidl Xmas cake?

If anyone has ever tried a Lidl xmas cake, what is okay? Money is really tight this year (and I'm not one for making Xmas cakes), but if money permits Lidl's xmas cakes are £4 cheaper than other shops.

We did last year at work.

It was ok (I am picky about my cake) and got eaten all up.

It wasn't amazing, certainly not the best cake I have eaten. But not ghastly and none of the others said "blurghhhhh is that a cheapo cake from Lidl?"
Get one and save some money (for the wensleydale cheese).
