I need a quick answer anybody?

Have mixed cake, smelling lovely.
I haven't any greaseproof paper, but the tin is non stick the really smooth black type.
Will the cake stick or will it be ok, it also has false bottom.

Grease the tin really really well and hope for the best!

Seconded - grease the tin v well. Stork usually works well for greasing. You could try thin brown paper if you have any (e.g. from a brown paper bag) as I have used that when I ran out of gp paper before and the cake didn't stick or tracing paper (but I'd assume if you had that you'd have used it anyway!!)
Hope it goes well. Smile

Just remembered a tip this morning which would have been handy - if your butter is wrapped in paper (as opposed to foil) you can use the butter wrapper in the bottom of the cake tin in place of grease proof paper.

Grease really well and if possible line with a cut up brown paper bag.

Sorry. You posted yesterday so surely it's all done by now! I made mine yesterday and seriously had to stop myself from scoffing the lot once it was done. So nice and so Christmas's!
