potato ricer

On yesterday's Saturday kitchen, Rick Stein was praising the potato ricer and I know I've read other messages on Mumsnet about how good they are.
I'm thinking of getting one and wonder what i should be looking out for to make sure I get a good one.

Also, can I do things like celeriac in it too? and swede?

TIA

I have the lakeland one somewhere that I've used once. You are more than welcome to it free if I can find it?

I love our potato ricer I got it after it was recommended to me on MN a couple of years ago. Use it at least 1-2 times a week. Bought it from a kitchen gadget-y type shop.

I find mine a bit of a faff tbh - the spuds all seem to be cold by the time I've finished and loads of bits get stuck in the things. Am I doing somthing wrong?!

What does it do that a normal potato masher doesn't?
