Can I freeze mozzarella?

It's one of those mozzarella rounds in liquid and I'm wondering if I can just dump it in the freezer?

Can't see why not- other cheeses freeze fine! Not tried freezing mozzarella myself though!

It freezes ok on pizzas , so I would have thought if you take it out of the liquid that it would be fine.

I freeze it in the liquid, so don't open the packet. It is fine.
