Venison recipes?

I've got two venison steaks. What can I do with them?

Flash fry on a really hot griddle. Have with something like redcurrant jelly, mashed potato and glazed carrots/parsnips. Medium Rare.........lovely!

Thank you 4merly. That sounds good. I don't actually eat red meat but I think dp would really like this.

There is a recipie in a Levi roots book for jerk venison. Serve with sweet potato mash and a chili and mango salad. It was amazing but not what you might trad do with venison.

Just totally trad would be nice as well, mash, greens and a red wine jus.
