Can I use tandoori paste like a normal curry paste?

I bought a jar of Patak's Tandoori Paste and clearly the recommended recipe is for lengthy marinading and then 'dry' cooking.

But I need to rustle up a quick child friendly curry tonight - can I just use the tandoori paste to make a standard 'wet' curry using chicken breast, onions, peppers, spinach and coconut milk do you think?

Of course you can. It will be quite red, but does it matter?

I wouldn't. However, if you decide to do it, go easy on the tandoori paste as it can be quite over powering. You can always add more as you go along.

hmm, conflicting opinions! Maybe I should sod the curry and make a casserole....

I don't wee why you can't. I wouldn't use too much though. I would also add yogurt to the curry.

See, not wee!

I have - just use a bit less. Tasted fine - quite nice actually.
