Xmas cake - pink whisk

Is it just me that didn't get a reminder from pink whisk about starting the Xmas cake recipe ? I'm trying to figure out when I should be doing stuff assuming I'm not going to get any reminders - I've got the memory if a gold fish....

I do this one every year since abandoning Delia. I have had my "boozy fruit" soaking for ages but looking at the blog from previous years she doesn't seem to actually make the cake for a week or two yet.
