Silly question about cake tins !

I'm a bit of an over-enthusiastic amateur baker and have just bought a dinosaur pan for my ds birthday. How do I make sure I can get the cake out in one piece? Previous fancy tins have led to breaking apart clumpy bits. Help please!

Grease the tin before you put the mix in.
Then leave it to cool in the tin after cooking, you should see it shrink away from the sides ..... Then tip out onto cooling rack.

Photos to follow?

Thanks, will try the cooling thing. Will post photos if it's not too horrendous!

Lakeland and Dr oetker in supermarkets do cake sprays which you use instead of greasing and lining and I get great results from them Smile
