How best to cook beef medallions

Bought beef medallions today and now wondering why! We only really like tender steak, dont by it often but when I do I buy fillet. I know these arent steaks so how should I cook them so they wont be tough? Should I slice them and put in a stirfry? Or slow cook them? Or quickly pan fry them? Help!!
