Homemade pizza - I need an easy base.....

I was using the pre-packed ones but they are soo hard. I bought puff pastry sheets which taste nice but fall apart they are so soft and maybe aren't that healthy?

Does anyone have a good easy base I could try?

WARNING: FRUMPY IS A CRAP COOK!!!

supermarkets sell mix for bases which you just add water to and knead

Either buy the packs of ready made mix or consider using something else as the base eg french bread, muffins etc.

Asda smartprice nan breads because they are round and stay moist even after you've cooked them and 45p for 2!

scone dough
rub butter into flour, add baking powder and seasoning, add milk to mix, roll flat, bake for 10 mins, put your toppings on abnd bake again

nan bread, great idea. Ditto french bread, my mum used to give us the birds eye french bread pizza

Piffle, can you give me rough quantities - I might try from scratch!!!

making dough is the best fun, according to dd

they can slap it about, punch it etc and then you get to to eat it covered in tom sauce!
