I was thinking :-

beef mince
egg yolks
breadcrumbs
herbs (mixed or maybe oregano or basil)

in a basic tom sauce.

I use mince (ground beef) onion, garlic, turmeric, cumin.
500gm Mince
1 medium onion diced
1tsp cumin and turmeric
1 clove garlic crushed

handful of chopped coriander
1 tin chopped tomatoes

Fry the onion, cumin, turmeric
and garlic and remove from the pan. Reserve half the mixture. Then mix the rest with the ground beef and form into meatballs. Return to the pan and brown over a medium heat. In another casserole pan, add the tin of chopped tomatoes, dash of worcestershire sauce and the other half of the onion mix. Add the meatballs to the this and simmer for about 15 mins. You may want to add some water and chopped coriander to this. Serve with rice or couscous. My boys love it.

Packet of mince-raw
Packet of sausages-raw (you have to squeeze them out of the skins)
Clove of garlic
squirt of tomato puree
a finely chopped red pepper
teaspoon of paprika
one egg
two slices of bread blitzed in to crumbs
little bit of salt

Mix together in a big bowl using your hands. The still using hands shaped the mixture in golf ball sizes and put a baking tray lined with a sheet of baking parchment(saves masssively on washing up).
Bake in oven at 190c for 30-ish minutes.

Lovely with pasta or mash and a salad
Can also cook it in one big block to make a meatloaf.

I find if you use just beef mince the meatballs are a bit hard, That's why adding sausagemeat or pork mince is a good idea

pack of mince
one egg
breadcrumbs from 3slices of bread
grated cheese - about a half a duplo brick size

mix all together
bake in oven in balls for 40 minutes

tomatoe sauce - onions garlic jar of passata

fry the onions and garlic add the toms and the meatballs and heat for 5-10 minutes.

MMMMMMMMMM meatballs.
my mum has me making these each week for tea at our house. DS loves them and even my grandparents eat them too.
