Plum Bread and Butter Pudding? With Brioche?

I have a brioche loaf thing. And some plums. And eggs and milk. Can I make bread and butter pudding this way? I've not made it before, but am assuming a normal recipe is adaptable?

I do believe Nigella has a recipe for bread and butter pud with brioche

NotQuiteCockney · 27/09/2006 19:05

I keep meaning to make it with this great fig, apricot and rosemary bread I'm hooked on, but, um, there are never any bits left to make it with.

Or plum cobbler (if you don't want to use the brioche)

NotQuiteCockney · 27/09/2006 19:10

I've never made any sort of cobbler, should try. My default plum thing is either smoothie, or klafouti (clafouti?).
