How on earth do you get the blooming cakes out in one piece?
Also why are the cakes a different texture when cooked in the silicone mould as opposed to when you bake them in paper cases?

Are you greasing the mould?

Spray it with a cake release spray, Dr Oetker do one you get in the supermarkets.

IMO, they are crap. Throw them away. Use paper cake cases - they are much prettier.
