Can I still use this pastry?

Someone put a pack of pre-rolled puff pastry in the pantry instead of the fridge yesterday. I found it this afternoon. Would it be safe to eat?

Open the packet.
If it looks and smells OK, I'd cook it - make sure its cooked through properly, and then eat.
If it looks / smells / tastes funny at any point, stop.
Cook it as soon as you can.

What are you going to do with it?

I'm not sure. It was supposed to sit in the freezer for when I wanted it.

Might have to do something like a tart so it will be cooked through.

It won't puff up as the fat layers will have melted into the dough. I have done similar so speak from experience.

Hm. Darn. So basically it's only binnable?
