I've made a curry, added fat free natural yogurt, can I freeze it?

It's the fat free natural yogurt that I'm not sure about. Is this ok to freeze or will it go funny?

I have done so in the past, and have not made DH ill. I don't like curry myself so I tend to make a batch that makes about 6 meals and freeze in individual portions for him.

It will be fine - the yog might separate so it could look a bit "grainy" when you defrost it but it will taste fine

Slake some cornflour in a little bit of water and stir it through before freezing. That should stabilise the yoghurt and stop it from splitting Smile

In my experience fat free yoghurt always seperates and goes grainy. However, there is nothing to stop you freezing the curry it will be fine. You could stir in some more yoghurt after defrosting it.
