Taking a "pud" for Sunday lunch

Going round friends on Sunday. 10 of us in total, 3 kids. Has anyone got any suggestions for a nice pud to take please? Something easy I can make at home and take round ready to go. Reheating is ok would prefer not to do any prep there though. Thanks in advance! Grin

Cheesecake?

Holdthepage · 19/09/2014 20:39

Chocolate brownies. Take fresh raspberries & a good quality vanilla ice cream to serve.

Thanks for the replies. Might try and find an oreo cheesecake recipe. Then also might do choc brownies as a back up! Is it too awful to make Betty Crocker ones as long as I do t pass them off as my own? They are pretty amazing!

I would do a crumble. Mainly because it's the only pudding I can make Grin

I like Nigella's white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. Very easy to make and I often get requests to make it.

Easy, transportable, seasonal

brownies with rasps or pavlova, which you could assemble there.

OooOooTheMonkey · 19/09/2014 21:48

What kind of crumble do you suggest? What fruit I mean? Maybe a fruit crumble and oreo cheesecake then?

I reckon plum crumble would be nice. plums are in season, bit more interesting than apple

Crushed pineapple crumble with evaporated milk is to die for!
I made hazelnut meringues last week and served them with poached pears and vanilla ice cream. Bloody lovely!!
