My son has stopped eating!

He weaned with no problems, would eat just about anything I offered him. He has an egg allergy but we get round that with no great problems. He is now 14 months and just spits most things out. He will drink his milk in the morning and then happily has his weetabix/porridge but come lunch time and dinner time virtually nothing. I can get soft fruit in to him and that's about it. I've tried his favourites, tried going on more of a finger food diet but no!!! Where am I going wrong? DD was never this hard!

Is what he does eat is nutritionally complete (like, is there a source of iron?). And don't worry about it if at all possible. Give him vitamin drops in his milk if his diet doesn't look balanced. DS was the same for about 6 months, and he was the only one of my 3 I gave vitamin drops to. The only other thing we did was limit DS's milk to 4 cups a day (so about 21 oz), and juice (very diluted) to the same. Bit of complaints, but he got used to it and started eating more variety eventually.
