Any one got burger press instructions please?

I ordered a couple of (admittedly really cheap ) burger presses as a little extra for a couple of teenage tboys with birthdays shortly. Product looks fine and almost identical to some I bought from Lakeland a few years ago. Unfortunately there are no instructions. If you have one and could be kind enough to either type out or scan and send instructions I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Lilolil

Didn't like to see your message go unanswered. I don't have a burger press myself, I tend to just go freestyle and use my hands but I just did a quick internet search and there are a few instruction manuals available to download. Just Google the make of press that you have and something should come up.

Good luck!

I've one that is three pieces of plastic, one is a circle and you put that piece inside the one that is a polo shape and then you put the meat in and then you put the third piece on the top (that has a sort of handle on) and press it down.

Mine is a bit like this one.

thanks all. I did google before I posted on here but didn't find anything, will try again. Could work out how to use it myself and could probably write them out. Having said that, they were poorly packaged so the boxes are a bit bashed, so have contacted seller (via amazon) to ask to return. Not the bargain that they appeared to be!

If it's the same as the Lakeland one. Put it up on its end with the larger, open, circle at top. Place in grease proof disc, shiny side up, fill with burger mix, to top if half pounders, less if thinner. Put another GP disc on, put on lid and press down firmly (still with burger on top). Remove lid, grasp around side of the press to lower the body sides while leaving the plate raised to remove burger. Repeat ad nauseum.

Hope you could understand that. Failing that, search on YouTube, bound to be a video.

Mine is an original lakeland one, looks very much like this but sure it's a bit bigger than the new one.

Hi Pantah, thank you, yes I did follow that. If it was for me, could work it out but had hoped to use for presents so really needed the instructions. Am trying to return them but seller not responding.

I'll see if I've got the originals and take a picture.

lilolilmanchester · 12/09/2014 08:13

That would be kind, thank you. Still not had a response from seller re returning
