Greengages - but not many?

I was out foraging yesterday (looking for crab apples to make hedgerow jelly with after I pick all the other ingredients) and found a greengage tree. Unfortunately most were on the ground but I got a small bowlful and am now wondering how best to use them.

Can stick a handful in the hedgerow jelly or use another fruit with them to make another jam? It's that or make DH very happy and make a mini crumble with them.

How about making a frangipane tart or clafoutis with halved greengages? Making them into jam or jelly seems like a waste.

We do love clafoutis....that's a very tempting idea.
