Sounds gorgeous. All my dinner parties are veggie, so a few of the things I've learnt ...
Go for the tart rather than the risoto cos of the time it takes to prepare when you could be drinking with your friends. Also risotto is often the only veggie choice in restaurants, whereas the tart is a bit different. BTW Delia has a wonderful recipe for red onion tarte tatin.
If you do go for the tart, then try not to do tart again for pudding, gets a bit sameish. We get really annoyed when we go out and there is a set menu. I get some wonderful chocolatey desert with my meaty meal, while dp is given fruit salad. There is some idea that veggies like healthy food ... not in our family. Bring on the calories!
A warm fresh loaf of bread (white crusty is fine, or something a little unusual) as an accompaniment to any main course adds the bulk that a veggie meal can lack.
And my favourit recipe for new pots - pour over a little olive oil, grated parmesan and torn basil leaves. Mmmmmmmmmm.
Can I come? My tummy is rumbling!
